Written Testimonials
Hello, I wanted to share my testimony about the impact Missouri Accreditation has had on my program.
My name is Christina Puckett, Director and Owner of Kids in Christ Academy LLC, and becoming Missouri Accredited has truly transformed my preschool/childcare center and strengthened me as a leader.
Since opening my center in 2007, I have learned so much throughout this journey. For many years, a close colleague—who operates her own successful accredited center—encouraged me to pursue accreditation. I always believed in providing quality care, but I didn’t fully understand how Missouri Accreditation could elevate our entire program until I began the process myself.
In 2024, Kids in Christ Academy officially became Missouri Accredited, and I can confidently say I wouldn’t want it any other way. The expectations, the structure, and the classroom arrangements all make sense. Missouri Accreditation helped us build environments that are not just childcare spaces, but true learning environments designed around what children need to grow, explore, and succeed.
Accreditation also reinforces the importance of delivering high-quality care, implementing strong procedures, and maintaining professional standards across the entire center. It has strengthened our curriculum, our organization, and the overall quality of our program.
One of the greatest impacts has been the professional growth of my team. Supporting staff in earning their CDA or advancing their education has truly made a difference. The training and expectations from Missouri Accreditation give us tools to become better teachers, stronger leaders, and a more intentional program.
Looking back, I am grateful for this journey. Being Missouri Accredited has made our program better, stronger, and more focused on what truly matters—quality care and meaningful learning for every child. I wouldn’t change this experience for anything.
Kind regards,
Christina Puckett, Director & Owner, Kids in Christ Academy LLC
